FERRARI.  The rocking horse


Once upon a time not so long ago, a family in Serbia who took their son and daughter on regular walks passed a field with horses would stop and look and wonder. The little girl ‘Lenka’ asked, “daddy one day can we have a pony” and daddy replied, “ one day we will ask uncle Geoffrey and auntie Jackie from England”. 

This is where our story begins. 

Uncle Geoffrey and Auntie Jackie decided its was time to do some research. It didn't take long to find the Rocking horse shop web site. A phone call or two giving all our requirements and most of all could they send it to Serbia were discussed. 
If I was to say that nothing was too much trouble that would be an understatement. A horse was configured and born and given a name by 3 year old ‘Lenka’. “FERRARI”

Ferrari slowly came to life and was finished. Lin then worked her magic not only wrapping and crating Ferrari ready for her 1500 mile journey to Serbia but also sorted out all the paperwork and insurance as well. Lessons were learnt along the way but no problems arose that were not overcome easily and we thank you Lin. 
All ready to go. 

Finally Ferrari was on her way and after 7 days it had arrived in Novi Sad customs and on its final journey to the house. Door to door. 

It arrived door to door 1500 miles in perfect condition. 
Now its time to open her up and let Ferrari out of her stable

If gold medals could be awarded for kindness, hospitality, organisation,craftsmanship, then it must surely go to Lin and all the team at the Rocking horse shop York who made all of this possible by making everyones dreams come true.
