These courses are aimed at those wishing to make a laminated Decorative Rocking Horse. We will show you how, using traditional hand tools and the latest electric carving tools which are ideal for this beautiful laminated horse. Previous carving experience in not necessary and all skill levels are accommodated, and each student will be taught all the techniques to successfully carve the Decorative Horse. Sanding, varnishing, fitting stand or bow rocker & tacking up is not included in this course but can be easily finished at home

The course fee includes:-

• Three days tuition including use of workshop equipment and all carving tools.
• Lunch, usually cold meats and salads, as well as refreshments
• Decorative timber pack on bow rockers including the bows which you will assemble later. (You may carve the Decorative Rocking Horse on a safety stand for an additional £50.)
• Accessories and tack to finish the horse are also not included

The Decorative Rocking Horse carving courses courses run 10:00am till 4:00pm on the first two days, 10:00am to 2pm on the final day, with a maximum of 4 students on each course. These courses take place in our purpose built workshop. Accommodation is not included, but we can recommend several local B & Bs, pubs or hotels, and will send you a list on request.
