These are specially prepared using fine quality real horsehair. The mane hair is glued & stitched onto a tape to be set securely into a groove or slot cut in the horse's neck using the leather strips provided.

The base lengths of the manes are approximately: Small - 8", Medium - 9 1/2", Large - 11", but you should have the mane to hand before cutting the groove. The mane does not include a seperate forelock, but is created but combing a small section between the ears, the 'join' is hidden beneath the headband of the bridle. Mane hair is layered & is approximately 12-18 inches long. 

Fitting instructions are included. All our products comply with the British Toy Safety Standards.

Hair Colour Options:

• Black - Black sometimes with small strands of brown visible. Ideal for black and dapple horses. 
• Blonde - sometimes described as white, ideal for light coloured horses and laminated horses with tan accessories. 
• Chestnut - chesnut brown, ideal for laminated horses with havana accessories and brown horses
• Grey - hand mixed colour so shade can vary. Ideal for dapple horses
• Brown - a mix of brown and grey ideal for laminated horses with any accessories fitted.
