The mane hair is glued & stitched onto a tape to be set securely into a groove or slot cut in the horse's neck using the leather strips provided.  

The base lengths of the manes are approximately: Small - 8", Medium - 9 1/2", Large - 11", but you should have the mane to hand before cutting the groove. The mane does not include a seperate forelock, but is created but combing a small section between the ears, the 'join' is hidden beneath the headband of the bridle. 

Fitting instructions are included. All our products comply with the British Toy Safety Standards.
