The Carvers Chops is a heavy duty wooden vice with a strong steel screw. It is an invaluable aid to carvers, enabling you to hold your carving securely at the most convenient angle & working height & to get easily all round the work. One has been in everyday use in our carving shop for many years & if you intend to do a lot of carving it is well worth spending the time to make the chops. The full size chops plan also includes scale plans for a portable carvers bench upon which to mount the chops.
